Customizing Tools and Bookmarks Issue

Issues:

 Everytime I add tools to customize the tool bar, the tools that I add aren't permanent and just disappear when I close out the program.  What do I need to do to make them permanent

Is there a way to have a bookmarks template and tie it into a scanned document.  For example, with DC Pro there is a "set destination tab" when you right click a bookmark that allows you to link to the highlighted page.  Do you have such an option?

I am unable for some reason to ask another question when I access the site, all options are grayed out.

I'm not sure about the bookmark template question, but you can definitely link to other pages (in the same document or a different one). If you've created the bookmarks, you can right-click on one and choose Properties. Under Actions are the things you can have done when you click on the bookmark.
