Cannot activate a re-install

Nitro Pro 10 I have been a user for 2 years - I uninstalled yesterday and now cannot activate - the Help tag only allows me to deactivate. Please help.

Kindly refer to this steps to address your concern:
1. Download and run our Clean Up utility to uninstall your Nitro Pro: http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip

NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000001686

3. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't always run from the zip)
4. Run the utility then reboot your machine.
5. After rebooting, please clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installed in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.

6. Download and install Nitro Pro 10.5.9.14 using below offline installers:
64-bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_105914/en/retail/nitro_pro10_x64.exe
32-bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_105914/en/retail/nitro_pro10.exe

7. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number.

Allain - Thank you - I followed your  instructions but unfortunately it has not solved the issue.

I have attempted to activate via the Activation Portal and anm taken to a page stating:

the status is "active"

Number of activations = 0

Number of activations allowed= 2

It then invites me to deactivate, and that after doing this I will be able activate.

However, when I deactivate, I receive the error message:

Sorry, you may only deactivate 0 devices

Grateful of any further help.

Thanks for your response and patience.

Let us try deactivating via Command Prompt by following these steps:

1. Go to Start > search for cmd.exe > right-click > Run as administrator
2. Enter the path for 'ControlActivation.exe' located in your installation folder of Nitro Pro, followed by the switch "-d", then your serial number. Eg. "C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro 11\ControlActivation.exe" -d 234xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Once completed, try to activate the normal way by opening Nitro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number.
