sg2600
I receive the message "occurrence of user-interacted or failed conversation" when trying to print to PDF from Firefox on Windows 7. I haven't been able to find any logs. The only error is the one listed and status "internal error". Any one else having the same issue?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted March 26, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted March 26, 2018 Hello @sg2600, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! To further troubleshoot, please try these steps: -Run FireFox in Safe Mode by holding Shift and clicking or opening the program -Try to print -If that works it means there's a add-in or Extension causing issues. For me I had to turn off "Primetime Content Decryption Module provided by Adobe Systems, Incorporated". After that, the printer should work without issue in FireFox. I hope this helps! Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted March 26, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted March 26, 2018 Hello @sg2600, Thanks for getting back to me. To further troubleshoot, let us uninstall and reinstall your PDF Creator: 1. Close your Nitro Pro. 2. Right-click on the Nitro Pro desktop icon and select Run as Administrator. 3. Go to Help tab > Support Tools > PDF Creation tab and click Nitro PDF Creator button. If the tool is not found in Help tab, you will need to go to the installation folder of Nitro Pro and run NitroPDFSupportTools.exe (by default, it is inside C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro X, where X is the version you have) 4. Installation will be done in the background. Once it's done, you should receive a message 'installation of the printer driver was successful’ 5. Click OK > Close. 6. Close your Nitro Pro and open it again to test. If in case same issue occurs, kindly run Microsoft .NET Framework Repair tool. You can download this tool from their website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=30135 Cheers!
sg2600
Still no luck. I received the installation of the printer driver was successful however that did not fix the issue. I ran the .NET repair tool with no luck as well. I am receiving a new error message that occurs prior to the " occurrence of user-interacted or failed conversation " message (screenshot attached)

Kindly follow these steps to further troubleshoot the issue: 1. Go to Run (Window key on your keyboard then press R key), type service.msc then click OK 2. Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted September 11, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted September 11, 2018 Hello @sg2600, Thanks for you providing the build of you Nitro Pro 11. Since you're still working with an older build, kindly update to the latest build by following these steps: 1. Clear the content of the directory under C:\users\your_username\Appdata\local\temp. For whatever reason, not all temp files automatically remove themselves and is NOT usually caused by Nitro Pro files. 2. Download and run our Clean Up utility to uninstall your Nitro Pro: http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000001686 3. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't always run from the zip) 4. Run the utility then reboot your machine. 5. Now manually check for left over registries from Nitro Pro (Run > regedit) and delete them. Make sure to save a backup before making any change. Reboot the machine again after deleting Nitro Pro traces. 6. Please clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installed in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package. 7. Download and install Nitro Pro 11.0.8.470 using below offline installers: x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x64.msi x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x86.msi 8. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number. Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!
