Joe R
With a pdf text file that has text running very close to the left edge of the “page”, Nitro seems to chop off the left edge when printing. The result is the printed version missing part of the left most letter on the line. Adobe reader does not have this problem. Are there settings in Nitro that can be used to fix this problem? Administrators Alex Edwardes Posted May 7, 2018 Administrators Report Share Posted May 7, 2018 Hi @Joe R, It is likely that the PDF dimensions are different to the page size you are printing to. I recommend that you ensure that the Print Scaling is set to 'Shrink to fit printable area'. You can also double check that the correct page size is set in the Printer Properties. Joe R
Page size in Nitro is 8.5 x 11 which is also the paper size setting in the printer, with fit to the size set in the printer settings
Administrators Alex Edwardes Posted May 8, 2018 Administrators Report Share Posted May 8, 2018 Hi @Joe R, Please check that you are not printing with custom margins, or anything similar, via the Printer Properties. Also, check that in the Page Scaling settings, as well as 'Shrink to fit printable area', ensure that Auto-rotate and center pages' is ticked. If that doesn't help, please download and install the latest update from our website: https://www.gonitro.com/product/downloads After that, repair Nitro via Start > System > Apps & features > Nitro > Repair. If you are still having no luck, please try another document to see if the issue can be replicated, or if this is a file specific problem.
