Yes, I agree with Jurgen.  The print button needs to be moved up so that I don't have to scroll down to select print.

I agree with Jurgen.  I had reported this issue a while ago and, after upgrading to version 12, I see that the issue remains.  I go to the print screen, most of the time, to simply press "Print".  Where it is located means that I always have to scroll to find it.  It would seem reasonable that the button and maybe the "Print Options" link should be at the top.

Thanks,

Al Schoen

Not only should the print button be moved to the top, but the "Before you print..." area should be removed or relocated elsewhere.  99% of my PDF activity is view, print, view, print and the button placement and this "features ad" hampers productivity.  Bad design, guys.  Please fix ASAP.

Hello @Robert L,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

The 'Before you print' notifications cannot be turned off or swapped to the Print button.

Fully opening the program on the users system will allow them to print without having to scroll down.

At the moment, there are no plans to change this item in the near future.

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

Hello @AllainU

"Fully opening the program" might be helpful on big desktop screens. But I am working always on 13 inch laptop and there the need for scrolling is really annoying. Please don't assume we are stupid users who fail to maximize screen.

I completely agree to Rober L. A simple change could really improve situation.

This is situation for me - and I think: for many others:

I did run Nitro Pro in the full screen mode, but on a 15.6 inch laptop, it made no difference.  The "Print" button is still off the screen.  I believe, like everyone here, that the Print button is so important that it should be moved closer to the top of the screen.  There seems to be some dead space in the area of where the printer drop down (printer selection) is located.

Regards,

Al Schoen

Agree with Al Schoen, full screen mode doesn't resolve the issue on my 15.6 laptop either.  It still required scrolling down to reach the print button which is absurd.  In addition, I have a touch display and you can't scroll by touch which would make it a little easier.  I print a lot and this is time consuming and reduces productivity in my business.  I have had to go back to using the free Nitro for most of my work.  It doesn't have this problem.  I only use the Pro now for things I can't do on Nitro Reader 5.

People have been complaining about this for almost a year now.  It shouldn't take an act of Congress to fix it.

I just recently updated to Nitro Pro 13 and was astonished this hasn't been changed. After so much criticism from the users, I would at least expect this to be an option in the settings. Having to scroll down the entire window just doesn't make sense from a user perspective. I agree with previous comments that this was a very bad UI decision, but I also agree that from an ecological perspective it makes sense to make the user aware. However, it would be much less intrusive if it were smaller. Thank you in advance for finally correcting this very annoying behavior.
