This website is sooo broken

Recommended Posts

Having major problems trying to install the trial download on Windows 10 x64 v1803.

The issue is that windows does not recognise the msi as a valid file after selecting to install it and says to get in touch with the developers to tell them it is not a valid msi file. I also tried the x32 version with the same result. I tried multiple times to download fresh copies.

Trying to ask for help was not possible using the edge browser. I could not get past creating an account and password because the submit button remains greyed out. It only worked afetr I used a different browser ie firefox to create an account.

The downloaded msi files will not install. I have full admin permissions.

Hi

It was the trial version I was downloading - I have not purchased yet.

Hello @Solvetech,

Thanks for your response.

Kindly provide the URL where you attempted to download the MSI installers for the trial version.

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hello @Solvetech,

Thanks for your response.

I was able to download the trial version from that URL and installed it on my machine without issues.

As a work-around, you may use these direct installers for Nitro Pro 12:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1200112/en/burn/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1200112/en/burn/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

If you are not sure which to pick, this will help: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/000001874

After installing, this will run as trial version for 14-days.

Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!

This worked when installing to a different computer. I am still having problems with the website using the edge browser which is not giving me much confidence though.

Hello @Solvetech,

Thanks for your patience.

At the moment, kindly use Internet Explorer on the other machine if you wish to use the Nitro Pro PDF web plugin. ActiveX is no longer supported in Microsoft Edge, which is the technology behind Nitro Pro's web plugins.

Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!
