excel add-in disabled

Recommended Posts

I've been using Nitro PDF Professional for ages, but suddenly the Nitro add-in no longer appears in Excel (Office 2010 on Windows 7).  Still working in Word. In Excel I can see Nitro as a Disabled Application Add-In, but I'm unable to re-activate it: Nitro appears in the list of available add-ins, but if I check it then click OK, nothing happens. I've tried the Add command and navigated manually to the msexceladdin.dll file, with no success. Can anyone help please?

Hello @wink,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

Are you still using Nitro Pro Professional also known as Nitro Pro 6?

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hello @wink,

Thanks for your response.

Please be informed that we no longer support the version of your Nitro Pro as per our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy that is why we highly recommend you to upgrade to Nitro Pro 12 from our website https://www.gonitro.com/pricing

If you would like to trial our latest product, Nitro Pro 12, you can download it from here: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/try

It will run as a full featured product for 14 days! After that, if you choose not to purchase it, you can still use it as a PDF reader. You can learn all about some of the features here: https://www.gonitro.com/resources/videos

Alternatively, if you prefer to keep using Nitro Pro 6, kindly uninstall it, reboot the machine and reinstall by download its last build from this page: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/installer/000001632

Cheers!
