What happened to the Request Signature button under Share?

There used to be several buttons under "Share". What happened to all of them in Nitro Pro 12. I use the request signature button all the time and now it is gone. I am really beginning to regret purchasing this version. There are so many things that don't seem to function as they have in the past and there is no support unless you purchased the VIP version. Way to go Nitro!

Hello @Karen B,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

As per attached image, I have Request Signature available under Share tab in my Nitro Pro 12.0.0.112. Do you have the same build installed on your machine? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab.

Aside from a missing button, what other features of Nitro  Pro 12 is not working? Please share more details so we can properly assist you.

With regards to your concern about Nitro VIP Access (formerly Software Assurance), customers has the option to purchase this when upgrading to Nitro Pro 12. If they opted not to, we recommend utilizing our Knowledge Base site http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase and to post their inquiries/concerns to our Community Forums https://community.gonitro.com/ (a page where other customers and Nitro Support team can collaborate and share solutions).

Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!

Hi AllainU,

I have the version that you mention (12.0.0.112) and the only options that I have in the Share tab is Hand, Edit, Zoom and Email as Attachment. The other item that I use a lot is the print functionality for photos to get multiple images on one page or several pages if there are more than 9, which I have frequently. After printing these photos I have to rearrange them on the page to a certain order but the current functionality splits each photo into three sections. This is not conducive to a good work flow. This never happened until a later version of Nitro Pro 11. I wouldn't update my Nitro Pro 11 to the newer versions because of this issue and am wishing I wouldn't have upgraded to Nitro Pro 12 now.

Thank you,

Karen

Hello @Karen B,

Thanks for providing this information.

I can see you you're trialing Nitro Pro 12 and you're having issues.

Let us try some troubleshooting by referring to these steps:
1. Clear the content of the directory under C:\users\your_username\Appdata\local\temp. For whatever reason, not all temp files automatically remove themselves and is NOT usually caused by Nitro Pro files.

2. Download and run our Clean Up utility to uninstall your Nitro Pro: http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip

NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000001686

3. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't always run from the zip)
4. Run the utility then reboot your machine.
5. Please clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installed in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.

6. Download and install Nitro Pro 12.0.0.112 using offline installers:
x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1200112/en/burn/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1200112/en/burn/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

If you are not sure which to pick, this will help: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/000001874

7. After installation, kindly test if you still have the same issues.

Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!
