Hi All,

I am new to the forum so this is my first post!

The company i work for run a hosted DaaS (Desktop as a Service) and have NitroPDF running for many users. The issue i am having is that when users login and open NitroPDF (12.0.0.112) they do not have any of the printers shared from the Print server, only local printers are visible to them.

Has anyone ever seen this before, and if so is there a fix for it?

Thanks in advance!

Lee

Hello @Lee.Roussel,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

Since Nitro PDF Creator cannot be shared, please install our stand-alone virtual printer using these direct links:

32-bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1200112/en/enterprise/Nitro_Creator_x86.msi
64-bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1200112/en/enterprise/Nitro_Creator_x84.msi

Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but thats not what i was meaning.

If i want to print a PDF that i have opened with NitroPDF on a printer that is on a print server then it can't as the printer doesnt appear in the printers list, only printers that are installed as local printers on the machine are available.

Regards,

Lee

Hello @Bdstew,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

For me to better assist you, what build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 11.X.X.X, e.g. 11.0.5.271)

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hello @Charlie W,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

In order to further troubleshoot this issue, could you please perform these steps?:

a. Log off from the machine and login as an Administrator.
b. Go to Setting > Devices > Printers & Scanners
c. Check 'Let windows manage my default printer' checkbox.
d. Log out as Administrator, login in as a normal user and do the same (Enable 'Let Windows manage my default printer' checkbox)
e. Restart the machine and check if correct printer list is now available.

Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps!
