Deactivation of Licenses

Question

Prashant Kumar

We have volume licenses for 95 users of Nitro Pro v10, however a few PCs got formatted due to crash or we forgot to deactivate the license before format. We are not able to re install the same. We have created a ticket on 2nd May, but no response from Nitro side. Please guide/Help.

Hi Prashant Kumar,

Thanks for posting on our community forums!

When it comes to activation and the records we keep, our logs are based on a computer ID which is generated and stored exclusively within Nitro Pro's user interface. We are unable to see the computer names/IDs that you are using for the machines internally.

Here's a link on how to get the Computer ID's:

http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/computer ID/000001916

For larger deployments, we recommend using our License Check utility.

I see you recently raised a support ticket and one of my colleagues is already assisting you with your concern.

Please provide the list of your active Nitro Pro Computer IDs so we'll be able to cross-reference it with our own records and proceed from there.

Cheers.

Hi Kelvin,

Thanks for prompt help and guidance. However it is very difficult to retrieve computer IDs from individual desktops.

We request to deactivate for all the computer IDs pertaining to our license/serial no.

We will activate afresh for the users.

Thanks in advance in anticipation of early resolution.

Regards,

Prashant Kumar
