MikeChern
I have used various versions of Nitro since 8.x thru 9, 10, & 11. Have been happy with those products. When I look at v.12 specs it appears to only support Windows 64-bit desktops, and only Office 2013 & 2016 (32 & 64 bit). Is this true or do I misunderstand; no 32-bit O/S support and no Office before 2013? Is it still possible to purchase v.11?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted August 15, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted August 15, 2018 Hello @MikeChern, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! As per our article below, it was mentioned under System Requirement 'Desktops: Windows 10, 8, and 7 (64 bit)'. This means both 32-bit and 64-bit for Windows 8 and Windows 10 are support and we only support 64-bit for Windows 7: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/tech/000003266 With regards to supporting MS Office, Nitro Pro 12 support both MS Office 2013 (32bit or 64bit) and 2016 (32bit or 64bit). Please be informed with release of Nitro Pro 12, we are no longer offering Nitro Pro 11. Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps! MikeChern
What happens with Office 2010 and Office 2007 installations? NitroPro 12 doesn't work or those versions are just not supported?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted August 16, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted August 16, 2018 Hello @MikeChern, Thanks for your response. Since MS Office 2007 and 2010 are no longer supported, therefore no fixes or tests will be conducted to address any issues that may arise with how Nitro Pro 12 is processing documents from these versions. Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!
