chpa
I deactivated Nitro Pro 11 on my old computer and tried to install it on my new computer, but after downloading and trying to install, I get the message listed in the subject line. I verified my license number in the activation profile and I have two activations left and it shows that 0 activations exist. I am using Windows 10 Home on a brand-new Lenovo Yoga 730. I also contacted Cleverbridge to make sure I had the correct version of Nitro Pro 11 to install. Any help would be appreciated. I have another licensed Nitro Pro 11 and I did all of the steps listed above on another brand-new computer, and that one went without a hitch, so I am truly at a loss. Productivity
I have been dealing with exactly the same problem with Nitro11 for the last 2-3 weeks. Tried to get help. Brought the CD at the suggestion of the help desk. Waited for it to arrive only to get the same problem. Nitro 1164 install has a bug. The help desk have run away because they don't know what to do and don't know how to escalate the matter. Now I come here and find that I need to uninstall Office to fix the bug. Seriously.... So much for being about 'productivity'. Well during that time I have also discovered WPS PDF to Word. It install no problem. does a very good conversion and costs less than $40 bucks. I think its time to share my experience and finding.

ianrf
I am trying to install nitro 11 on Win 10 pro 64 bit for a client that paid an awefull lot of money for all his licenses and I can not for the life of me figure out which voodoo ritual I am supposed to perform to get this thing installed
ianrf
Ok I am trying to install Nitro Pro 11 on a laptop with Win 10 Home on it for a client and I get the Setup Wizard Failed right after it does the download phase. Please do not ask for the serial number as It is not an activation I am trying to but an install and I have been able to install it on 3 out of 7 laptops so I know the installer works and the licenses are good . There is not an Microsoft Office install on these laptops and yes I have tried all the other permission work arounds that have been recommended and oh yes by the way the inability to contact support is becoming a deal breaker and If my client did not absolutely need this program I would tell him to ask for a refund. Tbyrnes007
Hi. I am also experiencing this error when trying to reinstall my Nitro Pro 11 to a new computer. I have tried several times on several computers and after downloading and starting the installation I get the error that installation has failed. This is very frustrating and I need to get my software onto my new computer. I had paid for premium support, but that apparently only lasted for 12 months. Please advise how to reinstall my software when there are these errors. Thanks.
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted February 26, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted February 26, 2019 Hello @Go Systems, I trust you're doing great today and thank you for contacting our Community Forums! In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please send me a private message and provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro? This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones. Hello @Tbyrnes007, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Kindly open Windows Explorer > Local C > Program Files. If you are seeing a 'WindowsApps' folder (to unhide this folder, please refer to https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files), this is an installation issue that prevented some users to install Nitro successfully. Users who purchased MS Office in Windows 10, via the Online Marketplace were affected by this due to permission issue on that specific folder. As a workaround, please visit this article and follow the steps properly until step 7: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/failed/000003265 Once done with the steps, kindly try reinstalling using below offline installers: x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x64.msi x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x86.msi If you are not sure which to pick, this will help: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/000001874 After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number. Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted March 8, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted March 8, 2019 Hello @Tbyrnes007, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! When you run all the command in the article, was it all successful? If one command failed, kindly follow these steps with few important notes: 1. Carefully follow the steps up to step 7 on this KB article: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/failed/000003265 Please take note of the following: • You are required to run CMD in administrator mode. • If Windows says '-' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file, remove the '-' when executing the commands. See screenshots below: The above article will allow your user account to take ownership and gain permission to access the WindowsApps folder. 2. Go back to C:\ProgramFiles\ then double click WindowsApps folder. 3. Click 'Continue' to permanently get access to this folder. 4. At this point, since your user account already have permission and ownership to the folder, clicking Continue will give you access to WindowsApps folder. 5. Close WindowsApps folder then open it again, you should no longer get the message 'You don’t currently have permission to access this folder' pop-up message. Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!
