alecfra 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2019 Hi I am running windows 10. An a registered user for many years of ver 9,10,and 11. with good success. I was offered a trial on ver12,so I downloaded it and installed ,it works well. Unfortunately it wiped ou tmy versions 10 and 11. I am not certain I want to go thru with the trial version. When I attempt to reinstall ver11 it bombs out to latest version install and fails to reinstall. I wish to retain version 11. To further troubleshoot this failed installation of v11 and missing installation of v12, kindly download and run our Clean Up utility: http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip After that, please clear the content of the directory under C:\users\your_username\Appdata\local\temp. For whatever reason, not all temp files automatically remove themselves and is NOT usually caused by Nitro Pro files. Also, clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installed in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package. Then reinstall your Nitro Pro 11 by downloading the installers here: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/sunset/000001632 If you are not sure which to pick, this will help: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/000001874 After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number.
