Lawrie101
Hi, ca anyone direct me to resolving this issue of combining word docs into .pdf. It seems the action works however when I open the folder the document is saved in the file comes up as a corrupted word doc. Says there is a problem with the contents and is corrupted. When I pdf each document with other programs there is no issue. Thanks
Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted October 2, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted October 2, 2018 Hello @Lawrie101, Thank you for posting on our Community Forums! You may want to try a few things: - Run a repair on both Nitro and Word installations. - Test saving the files in a different folder to see if that makes a difference. - Test combine other Word files to see if the issue is file-specific or if it is happening to all Word files. - Re-save or re-create the Word files, or copy and paste the entire content to a new Word file, and try combining the new files. I hope that helps!
Lawrie101
Hi Leslie, I just updated MS Word today. Yesterday when I combined a series of pdf documents there was another issue where it duplicated 4 of the 5 to be combined. Today I have seen several times this issue. I tried #2 and #3 however #4 is not feasible as we are talking about 150-250 pages and 5 combinations. When I try to mix excel/word and some pdf to create one pdf, this doesn't work either. So can you advise how do I repair nitro? I saw the help function but cant see the Repair Nitro button. Thanks

Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted October 3, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted October 3, 2018 Hello @Lawrie101 The instructions can be found here: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/repair/000001641 If that doesn't work, please use the tool I have provided below to remove all files associated with Nitro Pro and reboot your system. http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro, so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000001671 When your system is back up, close all of your open applications and install Nitro Pro 11.0.8.470 from the page I have provided below:https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads I hope this helps.
