Hans 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2018 A curious thing occurred. I moved to a new work machine today. I successfully activated NitroPDF 12 on a new home laptop yesterday. I deactivated the old licenses successfully on the old work machine today. I attempted to activate the same license on the new machine and was met with the error: -23: Error - License number already used. I went through the exercise to get support (clicked the Submit a support request link on the error dialog). On the website, it had the Number of Activations as 1. It also had the Number of Activations Allowed as 2. So why didn't it allow me to activate? I did click the Deactivate link on the website and I was able to activate on my work machine. I will see what happens tonight. But it seems unclear what happened and why, if I successfully deactivated and it indicated on the web portal that I had one more activation available, why I was getting an error -23.
