Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted November 9, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted November 9, 2018 Hello @ZENILLU2004, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! If you have Windows 10, kindly run Nitro Pro with higher DPI mode by referring to these steps: 1. Right-click Nitro Pro desktop shortcut or the NitroPDF.exe (by default is installed in C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\12) then select Properties 2. Nitro Pro Properties window will open, click on Compatibility tab 3. Under Settings, click on Change high DPI settings. 4. Another Nitro Pro Properties window will open. 5. Enable Override high DPI scaling behavior. 6. OK > OK to save the setting and test Nitro Pro again. But if you have Windows 7 and options are grayed-out, please refer to this MS article. Please note that this will impact ALL applications, not just Nitro Pro:https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff629368.aspx This article should explain why those options are grayed-out in Windows 7:https://superuser.com/questions/282648/windows-7-cannot-turn-off-dpi-ppi-scaling-for-an-application Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps! ZENILLU2004
Dear AllainU, Thank you for your reply. Currently my desktop is running on Windows 7. I have tick on the option to run compatibility using Windows 7, but I could not find the option to "Enable Override high DPI". https://www.dropbox.com/s/g72nz1g721jvphr/Nitro%20compatibility%20setting.docx?dl=0 I have snapshot copy of the settings for your viewing. Tried as the above settings but still does not work - pictures still distorted. Is there any other settings that I should tick? Thank You
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted November 16, 2018 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted November 16, 2018 Hello @ZENILLU2004, Thanks for your response and patience. Have you tried the steps in this page?: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/technet-magazine/ff629368(v=msdn.10) Please note that "Enable Override high DPI" is not available in Windows 7 and you have to go to Control Panel > Appearance And Personalization to adjust the scaling. Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!
