reactivating on new machine

I have built a new machine for one of our users who uses Nitro.  I deactivated the code on your website but when I try to activate on the new machine I get the error, "Originally Licensed on a different computer".  Please advise for resolution

Hello @Arty-Noel,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please send me a private message and provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro?

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hello @Arty-Noel,

Thanks for that information.

I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!

Hello @AllainU,

Thank you for your help with this issue.  Currently my experience is... when I start the program I get the error and I am not able to get into the program at all.  Will your adjustment correct that issue?

Thanks.

Hello @Arty-Noel,

Thanks for your response.

So that I can answer your question, what build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by going to Control Panel > Programs and Features. Look for the Version column.

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

@AllainU,

I don't think I explained myself well. ...

When I start the program (Start> Nitro) I receive the following error ""Originally Licensed on a different computer." and the program does not start at all.

I did try just before making this post to see if it had been resolved.

Because of this situation I am unable to retrieve the information on the build of Nitro Pro (installed from CD).

Are there possibly registry entries that need to be removed to get a clean start installing?

Thank you.

Hello @Arty-Noel,

Thanks for providing the build of your Nitro Pro 6.

Before continuing, I should let you know that we no longer support Nitro Pro 10 or older. It has been discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy

As courtesy, kindly uninstall what you have installed and reboot your machine. Once rebooted, download and install Nitro Pro 6 using the installers from this page:

http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/sunset/000001632

Then activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!

@AllainU  Thanks for your help!!

I followed your steps and installed.  When I went to activate the install it only gave me the option to deactivate so I will monitor for the time being.
