reactivating on new laptop

Hi Allain

I got a new computer and I deactivated my license on the old computer and then try to activate it on my new computer and I get message  " You have attempted to activate Nitro Pro using a serial number from another version, you can only activate this version on Nitro Pro with this matching serial number "

I try to find and download the previous version , can u assist with that Nitro pro 10.5.8.44, however, i dont know if that will solve my problems,

I believe you have received the error message '-22 Error Wrong License Number' and it means the serial number you are trying to activate is for a different version of Nitro Pro.

Looks like we need to uninstall the current version of Nitro Pro on your computer and install Nitro Pro 10. We then activate it using your serial number. Kindly follow these steps:
 
1. Uninstall Nitro Pro from your computer then reboot the machine.
2. Download your Nitro Pro 10 from this page: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/sunset/000001632

If you are unsure if your machine is using 32 or 64-bit, please refer to this link: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/000001874

3. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number,

I followed your step and uninstalled the 12 version and rebooted the computer, then installed Nitro 10 via your link.

pls see the message i get, it say that .. screen shot

Thanks for your response and patience in following the steps I sent you.

Kindly open Windows Explorer > Local C > Program Files. If you are seeing a 'WindowsApps' folder (to unhide this folder, please refer to https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files), this is an installation issue that prevented some users to install Nitro successfully. Users who purchased MS Office in Windows 10, via the Online Marketplace were affected by this due to permission issue on that specific folder.

As a workaround, please visit this article and follow the steps properly until step 7:

Once done with the steps, kindly try reinstalling using the same installer. 

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number.

Hi Again 

I followed your instructions as well the workaround and it seems like that operation went well, in terms of the how the process worked! 

However, once try to reinstall nitro 10, i had the same message!  Lack of time make me use other pdf now, even if I liked Nitro

If I upgrade to 12, can you give me a good discount code so I can download 12 and purchase pro version.

Just a small message on the community board here, that Allain& Nitro kindly assisted me in migrating the relatively old version 8 pro, bought 6 years ago,  to my new laptop.

I am not a very regular user, so very happy to still be able to  enjoy my excellent purchase, thanks Nitro!
