Yankee 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2018 I've seen multiple topics on the issue, response from NItro support is submit a ticket- but when i follow the link I'm told I need to search the forums/knowledge base. Every few minutes Nitro freezes, goes blurry and then resumes after 5-15 seconds. This has been an issue since day one. I see it all over these forums or google searches with no definitive answer. Can someone from Nitro support please reply with instructions of what is going on here. I'm on 11.0.7.
AllainU 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2018 Hello @Yankee, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Since you're still using an older build, kindly download and install Nitro Pro 11.0.8.470 using below offline installers: x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x86.msi x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x64.msi If you are not sure which to pick, this will help: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/000001874 If that didn't help, kindly run Nitro Pro with higher DPI mode by referring to these steps if you are working with Windows 10: 1. Right-click Nitro Pro desktop shortcut or the NitroPDF.exe (by default is installed in C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\11) then select Properties 2. Nitro Pro Properties window will open, click on Compatibility tab 3. Under Settings, click on Change high DPI settings. 4. Another Nitro Pro Properties window will open. 5. Enable Override high DPI scaling behavior. 6. OK > OK to save the setting and test Nitro Pro again. But if you have Windows 7 and options are grayed-out, please refer to this MS article. Please note that this will impact ALL applications, not just Nitro Pro:https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff629368.aspx This article should explain why those options are grayed-out in Windows 7:https://superuser.com/questions/282648/windows-7-cannot-turn-off-dpi-ppi-scaling-for-an-application Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps! AllainU 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2018 Hello @Yankee, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Our records show you have Nitro Pro 11 that is why I provided you the links for the latest build. If the program is saying 'The serial number is for the older version', what build of Nitro Pro is currently installed? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you. Yankee 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2018 Yes, @AllainU, we purchased 11 last year, correct. The link you provided installed Nitro 12.6.1.298 and we are getting the previous version error.
AllainU 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2018 Hi @Yankee, Thanks for your response and patience. It's weird that it installed Nitro Pro 12.6.1.298 while I provided you links to install Nitro Pro 11.0.8.470. My guess is that you still have Nitro Pro 12 MSI installer aside from your Nitro Pro 11 installer. Could you please uninstall Nitro Pro 12, reboot your machine, clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers and re-download Nitro Pro 11 using below offline links again?: x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x86.msi x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x64.msi Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps! Yankee 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2018 @AllainU Reinstalled- back to 11. Also made changes you suggested, if problem persists I will advise. Re: Override hide DPI i left it as application (not system or system enhanced) is that ok?
