Existing PDF not displaying correctly in Nitro

I just Bought NitroPro12 after 10 days of a trial usage.  I was discouraged to find that a PDF that was created in July using another product does not display correctly in NitroPro.  The text is garbled and/or missing throughout the document.  When I open the same document in Adobe Reader, the document is fine.  I have tried rebooting my machine since the install.  No change.  Has anyone else seen this?  Any ideas?  I really need Nitro to be able to read all of my existing PDFs.

In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please provide the following?:
-Does this happen with every file? Please send us the sample files (with sensitive information extracted) so I can replicate it on my end
-Where are the files saved (local, a shared drive or an external drive) when you’re trying to open? Can you check if you have the same issue when the file is saved locally?
