John W
When I combine files to create a new pdf, HOW do I give it a name other than UNTITLED?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted January 7, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted January 7, 2019 Hello @John W, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! To be able to provide a filename when combining PDF documents, kindly go to Settings and set Folder to 'Ask during the process' > OK > Create. Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps! John W
Yes, that tells me what folder to save it to BUT how do I give it a name OTHER THAN untitled?
Power User Steven Zakulec Posted January 9, 2019 Power User Report Share Posted January 9, 2019 In my copy of Nitro 12, when I choose "Ask during process" for combining PDFs, Windows pops up the Save As dialogue, which prompts you for a filename and a location for the file. The default name is "Untitled", but you can easily change it to anything you want. I tried combining two files, and the filename I gave for the new combined file stayed once the conversion was finished and the new file opened. I hope that helps- if this isn't what you're seeing, can you describe what you are seeing (or not seeing)?
