Fail to reinstall Nitro Pro 10 10.5.8.44 on my new laptop. I have desactivate the product on my old laptop and downloaded Nitro 10 on my new machine but installation keeps failing. I have tryed to desactivate / activate the license through "https://licenses.gonitro.com/prd/portal" but without success.

Hello !

The error message says: "Nitro Pro Setup Wizard has failed". Not sure what to do...

Hello @victor deleplancque,

While each case is different there are a few suggestions that you can perform to rectify this issue: 

1. Clear the Temp folder. 
2. Use the clean-up utility and/or the Microsoft FixIt tool. 
3. Reboot the machine. 
4. Manually check for left over registries from Nitro Pro. 

Then try reinstalling Nitro. If that does not help, please refer to this page: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/wizard/000003265

I'm having the same problem with v9.  I get the message "Nitro Pro Set up Wizard ended prematurely because of a programme error.  To install this program at a later time, run the setup Wizard again.  Click the Finish button to exit the Wizard."  I have tried running the wizard multiple times to no avail.  

I tried running all of the commands provided in the link in this thread but still no luck. What else can I do?  It is very frustrating to have purchased a perpetual Pro licence and not be able to use it even though it was working fine on my previous PCs.  I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro 5 which was exactly the same as the previous device (it had a warranty issue that needed replacing) and didn't have any trouble installing Nitro a year ago on that device.

I am trying to move my Nitro Pro 10 license to my new laptop. I uninstalled it and now need to install it on the new one. My license is showing as active.  Please assist me on this process.

Thank you Leslie, but I do not see a Nitro 10 Expired Page, only see the Nitro 12 trial expired page and it will not activate a previous version. error: -22. How do I get to the correct page to active 10? Thanks.

Hi Leslie,

I also tried with V10 (which under the policy I can also use with a v9 licence).  My issue  is not with the licence (which I believe should still work) but the installation failing.  I am not asking to install the newer product but simply the one which was working on my previous laptop up until January 2019.

What are the other options available for installation of the prior versions.

Hi Leslie, 

I have checked my serial number for an upgrade price but it isn't recognsed.  Can you please provide an email address I can send this to for verification (I don't really want to post it on an open forum).  I have already checked with Cleverbridge and they confirmed it is the correct serial number.
