Nitro PDF Preview Handler - Cannot preview in Outlook 2016

On one of my installs, I cannot use the preview feature within Outlook.  When I attempt to preview the file I get the following message:

This file cannot be previewed because the following previewer has been disabled:

Nitro PDF Preview Handler

[button] Enable previewer

When the button is pressed nothing happens and the file can not be previewed.  I have associated .pdf files with Nitro in the fill association settings in Windows 10.  What am I missing?

To fix this issue, kindly refer to these steps:

1. Run a repair on Nitro Pro. You may refer to this article: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/repair/000001641
2. Re-register the DLL file using the following Administrator command (Admin CMD): 

For 32-bit:
regsvr32 -u "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nitro\Pro\ X\NitroPDFPreviewHandler.dll" 
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nitro\Pro\ X\NitroPDFPreviewHandler.dll" 

For 64-bit:
regsvr32 -u "C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\ X\NitroPDFPreviewHandler.dll" 
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\ X\NitroPDFPreviewHandler.dll"
X = the version number of Nitro Pro the user is working with.

Hi, and thank you for the reply.  I did the repair function to no avail.  I also successfully unregistered and re-registered the PDFPreviewHandler and there does not appear to be any change in the behavior.  The workaround for now is to set another PDF app as default for preview functionality.
