rmondin
I lent my Pro license to a friend in need, and I'm using Reader 5. I went looking for updates to it, but all mentions are gone. Is it no more? Why?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted January 10, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted January 10, 2019 Hello @rmondin, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Please be informed that we no longer support the version (Nitro Pro 10 and below) of your Nitro Pro as per our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy that is why we highly recommend you to upgrade to Nitro Pro 12 from our website https://www.gonitro.com/pricing If you would like to trial our latest product, Nitro Pro 12, you can download it from here: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/try It will run as a full featured product for 14 days! After that, if you choose not to purchase it, you can still use it as a PDF reader. You can learn all about some of the features here: https://www.gonitro.com/resources/videos Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps! But I do like Pro, been using for some years.
Wolf Steel
We tried this and the users complained about productivity loss due to nag screens. Our users need to be able to view and print PDF's easily and without nags or unnecessary extra clicks. This was the reason we were using Reader 5. Until we found features that are needed, are not available in that version. They are comparing Adobe reader and another product 'Gotomax PDFMailer". I need to be able to provide a solution to these two programs with Nitro or Stakeholders will not look at it favourably for renewal....I'm already having a tough time because Nitro Pro doesnt cooperate very well with Government fillable forms. (no resolution found) Any Ideas? I'd hate to rip Nitro reader out and install Adobe Reader
