Drag to select shapes and Grouping/Ungrouping Shapes

Is there a way to drag and select multiple shapes that I have created all at once?  I am trying to set up a pallet of commonly used shapes with different colors, etc, and would like to be able to select certain ones to then copy and paste over to another page, as needed.  Haven't found a way to select a group without using Ctrl and then clicking each one individually.

Also, is there a way to Group and Ungroup several shapes once they are created?
