CorrEngCon 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2019 When attempting to open Nitro Pro 12 I get: "The code execution cannot proceed because libcef.dll was not found. . . " When I attempt to uninstall/repair the program in Windows 10 I get an error message about the network resource path unavailable for file {5E121786-EE58-45B1-BE28-5E9C1E53581C}.msi So, in summation I cannot open the program and I cannot uninstall/repair the program. Any idea on how to proceed?
Reymund G. 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 Hi @CorrEngCon, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Please try to uninstall Nitro Pro using the Clean-up tool. Download (link below) and run Clean-Up tool: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1220228/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip Refer to the link below about how to use the Clean Up Tool to Remove Nitro Pro:http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/clean up/000003054 Please be aware that this clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. CorrEngCon 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 Reymund, I had to capture an image of the screen and then loaded into Google Drive. Then I set the permissions to anyone with the link can view. I attempted to reload and rerun the script and this is what it said in the CMD: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qtNf-kGvmcmcfdBcjfyyW_8IAje6hy_7/view?usp=sharing
Reymund G. 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2019 Hello @CorrEngCon, I'm sorry to hear that. It seems that something went wrong on your Windows system registry which prevents Nitro Pro installation or uninstallation. Please try running the Microsoft tool that fixes problems with applications that won't uninstall or install. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Download the tool from this link and select the option to uninstall. Find Nitro from the list and see if your resolves the issue. Once Pro is fully uninstalled try running the offline installer for Pro 12. Refer to the link below: Nitro Pro 32bit Nitro Pro 64bit I hope this resolves your issue.
