According to the release notes, this is the latest version. How do we download it? It is not listed as the latest version on the website. Thanks!

Hello @mfiske,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

Please note Nitro Pro 12.7 was first released to Business and Enterprise customers but we'll soon update our website for online-users. Unfortunately, we have no ETA for this.

In line with this, kindly check for updates on this page from time to time https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads

Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!

Will this release address some of the concerns I have identified previously; namely office integration and the form field spell-check problems?

Hello @mfiske,

Thanks for your response and patience.

As per Nitro Pro 12.7.0.395 Release Notes, it should fix Nitro Add-on issue with MS Office: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/release-notes

Unfortunately, it doesn't include the fix for the form field spell-check issue and as much as I would like to provided an ETA for this, it is not yet available.

Happy New Year and I hope this helps!

I want to express - in the the strongest possible words - how unsatisfactory the Nitro update process is:

Somewhere the version 12.6 is the "latest" other places the latest is listed as: 12.7.0.395

In either case there are no clear instructions *how* to update. And lastly the fact that there is no *automatic* check in your software is unacceptable in any product that is sold for (significant) money after 2010...

Please add in-software check for updates (via HTTPS, with certificate checking and OCSP) to the top priority in terms of features needed.

Hi

I am also not happy with the way updates are delivered. Not does the SW have a function to check for updates, a feature that should normally be standard nowadays, nor does it state where one should go to look for updates.

Very unsatisfactory, I hope you are going to improve this soon.

Regards

Walter

Don't you at least have a link to that update address on the Nitro -> About Nitro? I mean the Nitro website is garbage when it comes to finding where to download the updates (not that there are updates, because we have to reinstall to "update").

we are asking for basic (version 0.10) type of UI improvements here...

I'm an engineer in my 40s and I don't have time in my existence on this planet to deal with such poor UI choices or websites that are created by "designers" that think that their website is the centre of a person's digital life...
