Lauren McCloskey
I am having trouble printing documents that contain both landscape and portrait pages. Nitro will only print one or the other at a time and will not auto-rotate the pages to print at the correct orientation. My previous version of Nitro was able to facilitate the correct printing, but I lost that capability when I upgraded to Pro11. I have the auto-rotate and center pages setting selected in the print menu, but that doesn't seem to work.
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted January 23, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted January 23, 2019 Hello @Lauren McCloskey, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please send me the Nitro Pro build (format is 11.X.X.X, e.g. 11.0.7.411) you are working with? You can find these out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you. Maka
Hello! I attempted to fix the lack of auto-orientation a few different ways - by disabling or enabling settings - to no avail. I then tried the 11.0.8.740 version of the program on a Windows 10 OS, but I'm experiencing the same issue with Nitro Pro not printing the pages in their correct orientation but rather in a single orientation for the entire PDF file. My original setup was version 11.0.7.425 on a Windows 7 OS. Let me know if you have any other steps I can perform to fix this issue. Thank you! Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted February 28, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted February 28, 2019 Hello @Maka, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Since updating to 11.0.8.470 from 11.0.7.427 didn't help, please try these steps: 1. Download our Clean Up utility: http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000001686 2. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't always run from the zip) 3. Run the utility. 4. Reboot your machine 5. Please clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installed in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package. 6. Reinstall 11.0.8.470 using the same installer you downloaded from my previous post. 7. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number. Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!
