Search Function

I previously had Nitro Version 10.  The search function worked at all times.

Last week, I have upgraded to Nitro Version 12 and the search function no longer works.  I have converted the pdf file with OCR and still not able to use the search function.

When I open the same file with Adobe Acrobat Reader, the search function works.

Please advise.

In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please send me a private message and provide the following?:
-Does this happen with every file? If it's a single file, please send us the sample file (with sensitive information extracted) so I can replicate it on my end
-Where are the files saved (local, a shared drive or an external drive) when you’re trying to open? Can you check if you have the same issue when the file is saved locally?
-Support Tools file from the affected machine. Note that if the tool is not found in Help tab, you will need to go to the installation folder of Nitro Pro and open NitroPDFSupportTools.exe: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/support tools/000001594

Good morning AllainU,

It happens with some files, but not all.  Tried both on the shared drive and local drive without any luck. 

Tried to attach the pdf file and Supports Tools file but could not find the link to do so.

Please help.

Did this get solved?  I'm new to Nitro Pro and the search is not working for me either.  When I search for a word that I'm looking straight at, it returns zero occurrences.  Does something have to be done to the pdf?  I used Foxit prior to Nitro and had no problems.

To send me the sample file, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'.

Also, what build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
