DragonflyOffice
Hi, I've tried everything I can possibly think of to get Nitro Pro running on my version of Windows 10, but I get the above error message with 'Please Reinstall'. I've literally exhausted everything I can find online to rectify this. Is there something obvious that I'm missing? I'm desperate to get this running as I use it for business. I have purchased Nitro Pro 12 Productivity Suite. Many thanks in advance for your help. Graham.

DragonflyOffice
Hi, I still can't get Nitro Pro 12 to run on my PC. As mentioned before, I've tried everything I can think of. I have now discovered that when Nitro Pro is first run it immediately halts the Nalpeiron Service. If you restart the service and run Nitro again it halts the service. If you leave the service stopped you get the 'The service does not have sufficient privileges.' Any ideas. It's so frustrating. G.

Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted May 28, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted May 28, 2019 Hello @h-online, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! For me to further assist you, you were able to install your Nitro Pro 12 however, you can also convert to PDF but you are prompted with the error message 'The service does not have sufficient privileges. Please reinstall'. Is this correct? Let say the issue happening with a Word document, are you experiencing the same behavior while the file is open using MS Word and if you will convert to PDF by going to File > Print > PDF Creator 12? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted June 5, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted June 5, 2019 Hello @JeffC, Thank you for providing this information. To further assist you, could you please check to see if Nalpeiron Licensing Service is running in the background when you try to run Nitro Pro? To check please do the following: 1. Go to Start and type Services.msc and then hit Enter. 2. Scroll down until you see Nalpeiron Licensing Service and then double-click it. 3. Check that the Startup Type: is set to Automatic and that the Service Status: is set to Running. If it isn't, click on Start button. 4. If it will not start and you see an error 1717 or 1722, scroll down to Windows Event Log in the 'Services' dialogue box > Right-click > Properties. Set it to 'Automatic' and click Start. 5. Then try starting the Nalpeiron Service again 6. Once the service is started try to run Nitro. 7. If same issue, please try disabling the antivirus program installed on your machine and test it again. If all fails, kindly update to the latest build by downloading the installer in this page: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads Thanks for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps!
