hth
Greetings. I am wondering if one of you bright types out there can assist me please. I had been running Nitro Pro 11 with NO problem. I thought I might give Nitro Pro 12 a go. On the surface of it after playing with NP 12 for a bit, I saw very little justification for upgrading given all that I would use it for so I removed NP 12 to go back to NP 11 but now I can NOT produce pdf's at all. The measures I have taken are: Reinstall Nitro Pro 11 Uninstalled Nitro Pro 11 Rebooted Run Nitro Pro Clean up utility Reinstall Nitro Pro 11 Uninstalled Nitro Pro 11 Run Nitro Pro Clean up utility again Cleaned out 'temp' folder (as per another post on this forum) Rebooted Reinstall Nitro Pro 11 ....and still nothing, files are being spooled to the pdf printer except the driver is not responding. Can anyone please advise. Thank you HTH
Official Nitronaut Kelvin B. Villarin Posted February 25, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted February 25, 2019 Hi @hth, Thanks for posting on our Community Forums! Kindly use this MS FixIt tool instead to remove all traces of Nitro Pro:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/program_install_and_uninstallThen, use the installer found on this link:https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloadsNote: Version 11 is at the bottom portion of the page. Also, Don't forget to clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installed in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package. Make sure your copy is activated: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/activate/000001639I hope this helps.
