JayK 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2019 Hi, I'm new to Nitro Pro 12. I'm trying to optimize (reduce file size) multiple PDFs created from scans. But File > Batch Processing doesn't have a choice for Optimize PDF -- is there a way to add this action to batch processing? Or is there another way to optimize multiple files, which I was used to in Adobe Acrobat Standard. Thanks
Leslie V. 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2019 Hello @JayK, Thank you for posting on our Community Forums! The only available functions for Batch processing are the ones here: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/batch/000001655 This feature has been requested before and it has been passed onto our Product team for further review. If you have other suggestions/ideas you can drop them here: https://community.gonitro.com/forum/12-product-improvement/ Cheers!
JayK 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2019 One of the ways I've been reading about to reduce file size is apparently to use Print and save as a PDF? How does that work? Does the currently-inadequate Batch processing infrastructure allow this to be on a batch basis
Leslie V. 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2019 Hello @JayK, Here is the article explaining how that works to reduce the file size. http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/reduce/000001940 Unfortunately, we do not have that as one of our batch processing functions.
