John Gupton Posted March 9, 2019 Report Share Posted March 9, 2019 I am currently running V12.6.1.298 on Win10 Pro. This Nitro version has Add-on issues with my MS Office products - had to disable the add-ons. I noticed the new Nitro version available yesterday and downloaded the installer. However, after the installer began the process I received the message the Installation Wizard failed. I have never in my thirteen years with Nitro Pro had this issue. Any ideas what I need to do? I recommend to uninstall Nitro pro 12.6.1.298 using the cleanup tool then install Nitro Pro 12.10.1.487 using offline installer. You can download the cleanup tool here: CleanUp Tool Refer to the link below about how to use the cleanup tool: Using the Clean Up Tool to Remove Nitro Pro If you encounter issues during uninstallation or installation, please try running the Microsoft tool that fixes problem with applications that won't uninstall or install. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Once Pro is completely uninstalled, proceed on installing Nitro Pro 12.10.1.487 using the offline installer. John Gupton Posted March 11, 2019 Author Report Share Posted March 11, 2019 Hello Reymund G. Thank you for the quick response. I followed your outlined procedure using the VBS cleanup tool, restarted, then installed Nitro Pro 12.10.1.487 using the offline installer. No errors on the install portion but Nitro would not launch. Received an "Entry Point Not Found" window. A procedure in "BCGCBPRO2430u120.dll" could not be found Uninstalled Nitro again except using Revo Uninstaller Pro wherein I removed leftover registry entries from V12.10.1.487 and V12.6.1.298. Ran the offline installer again and Voila! V12.10.1.487 now runs perfectly after importing Settings registry keys from the prior install.
