What's the recommended forensics tool for this?

I have to say I am on board with this sentiment!

Once again our users are complaining CRASHES ON SPELLCHECK - EVERY TIME.

And when I try to open a support ticket, I get ROUTED TO THE FORUMS.

THIS SOFTWARE WAS NOT CHEAP- SO WHAT DID WE PAY  FOR, EXACTLY???

In other words, when one of my users calls me in to show me how Nitro has CRASHED AGAIN - exactly what should I be using to gather all necessary and relevant  forensics for your support people?

Is there a link somewhere that details this??  Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Thanks for posting here and we apologize for the inconvenience.

We can usually look up the details via the Event Viewer. Or if it creates a crash report and asks for the email address, you can enter it so we can see the details on our end when we search for it.

Hello @ExpletiveDELETED,

I checked the crash reports that you have sent and can see that you are using Nitro Pro 12.5.

Please use the cleanup tool: kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/clean/000003054

Reboot, and reinstall Nitro Pro 12.10: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads

If the issue persists, please forward the file to me via direct message so I can have a look.

Thanks!

12.10 seems to fix the spellcheck crash, thanks.

But now we're just getting RANDOM CRASHES opening various docs ( intermittent!)

"No rhyme or Reason" says the user...

Hello @ExpletiveDELETED,

Thank you for your response and for letting us know that it is fixed after updating!

With regards to the missing URL, I already updated my colleague's post.

If it's not clickable, please copy and paste this link instead: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/clean/000003054

Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and please don't hesitate to reach out again if you have further questions.
