Pages scanned but only last one is in file.

I upgraded from Nitro Pro V9 to V12. What I'm about to describe worked Nitro Pro V9. The scanner I'm using is a HP Photosmart  7520 AIO. It is attached to my PC via USB cable. The PC is running Windows 10. I have 4 pages to scan manually. I place each page on the flatbed scanner and scan each page. When I finish the file name Untitled is displayed on the tab. Now I scanned 4 pages but only the 4th page is in the file. As I was scanning I noticed that the "Scan front of sheet 2" never increased to 3 then 4. This all worked using Nitro Pro V9. Now if I feed those same pages through the document feeder on the HP 7520 all 4 pages appear in the new file.

Now if I scan manually scan the same 4 pages on my Epson ET-4550 all the pages appear in the file. So there seems to be an issue with the hand shaking between Nitro Pro V12 and the HP 7520 where Nitro Pro V9 and the HP7520 works.

Any ideas and help would be appreciated. (The HP 7520 is a faster and better scanner than the Epson ET-4550. So a suggestion to use the Epson is not a likely solution.)

Thanks,

Curt G.

Nitro Support provided me with links to Nitro Version 12.10.1.487 which solved the problem.

They recommended the following direct links for installing 12.10.1.487:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12101487/en/burn/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi

x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12101487/en/burn/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

They may have a different version now but the above links fixed my problem and the case was closed. Hope it helps.

The download fixed it for me too, thank you!  Mixed emotions as I am really glad that I can get back to work but how disappointing that the answer is to do a software reload to get the functionality that has been in every version since my first one (version 7).

Thank you for taking the time to get this documented for me and those who follow with the same problem.  I will restate my problem below for easier future search of others.

only flatbed scanning the last page to a file

staying on Scan front of sheet 2

Missing Nitro Pro 7 !

Hi,   I know very little about IT and Nitro. If I download, and use one of the links , like http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12101487/en/burn/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi  will I be charged for this? I bought and my son installed my Nitro in Dec, 2018, and I use an HP printer/scanner, and have this single page problem.  But I can't afford to pay for nitro again?  Please can you help me understand?

Thanks in advance

I would think that as long as you have Nitro Pro12 you would not be charged for the fix.  All I can say is I had Nitro Pro 12 and downloaded the fix at no charge to me. Hopefully someone from Nitro Pro reads this post and responds. To me it is a critical issue.

Reymund G.,

Will the latest version 12.16 require me to recreate my "Scan Profiles" that I have in my current Nitro Pro version of 12.10.1.487? Also is there a list of enhancements or bug fixes that I can view?

Thanks,

Curt G.

Hi @Curt G.,

I went ahead and installed Nitro Pro 12.10 and created some scan profiles. After that, I downloaded Nitro Pro 12.16 and simply ran the msi file to update my existing Nitro Pro 12.10. The customized scan profiles are still there and none of them were deleted.

Customized scan profiles are saved here %AppData%\Nitro\Pro\12 inside ScanProfiles folder.
If you need to move your Nitro Pro to another computer or run a cleanup on your system, please ensure that you have a backup of your customized objects such as Stamps, ScanProfiles, etc.

Kind regards,
