CAn't upgrade older version

I have several Nitro Pro 10 licenses that are active and functional. I can look up the license using the validation portal with no problem but if I try to upgrade to a newer version, it says it can't validate. Why?

I just made adjustments on your Nitro Pro 10 licenses, so you can now upgrade to Nitro Pro 12.

One more license would not validate (234601-xxxxxx-xxxxxx)

Upon checking the serial number (now hidden for security purposes) you provided, it was upgraded to Nitro Pro 12 that is why our Upgrade Portal says unable to recognize or validate.
