Nitro 12- Crashed and now says licensed on a different computer

Hello,

I bought Nitro 12 Pro a year ago and it's worked fine.  Yesterday it crashed and told me to reinstall the software.  I did and now I get an ERROR- Originally licensed on a different computer.  I went and deactivated my license as shown below.

Once you click “Deactivate”, you can activate your license immediately by entering the below serial number into Nitro Pro.

Now it won't let me reactivate it.

In order to further assist you, I would like to know what build / version of Nitro Pro you installed on your machine.

You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

When it crashed the software had a pop up to reinstall Nitro.  I uninstalled it and then went to the Nitro home page and re downloaded Nitro Pro 12.  Therefore, it is the latest build.  I had to uninstall it again because it was constantly popping up ERROR messages, even when I was not using Nitro.  Every 15 minutes or so it would pop up these error messages 3x in a row and then stop.

To further troubleshoot, please try these steps:

1. Download our Clean Up utility: http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip

NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000001686

2. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't always run from the zip)
3. Run the utility.
4. Reboot your machine
5. Please clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installed in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.

6. Download and install the latest version of Nitro Pro 12.12.1.522 from this page: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads

7. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number.

If BitDefender says our Clean-up utility is a malware, kind use MS FixIt to uninstall (or delete traces from previous installations) your Nitro Pro:

After running the tool, reboot your machine and download the Nitro Pro 12.12.1.522 from this page: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads

I downloaded the Microsoft fix it program and it did not work.

I reinstalled NITRO PRO 12 and still get the "ERROR, Originally licensed on a different computer" 3x in a row, every few minutes.
