Nitro Pro Crash on Save

Recommended Posts

Good Day,

An exec is adding notes to a pre-existing PDF document. He is then saving it to his personal document network share. When he does so, the program crashes and we see:

"The document could not be saved. Please contact Nitro Support for assistance. Error Code: 0x400D0003"

If he saves the document to his desktop, then there is no issue.

He can save all other docs to his network share so can someone point me in the direction of a fix? Cheers.

Hello @shadragon,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

Kindly note this error code is usually a Microsoft error when your operational system is not being able to save in a network location.

After saving a copy of the file on his desktop, would it be possible to copy that and replace the file saved in his network share?

Once done, open the file in the shared folder using Nitro Pro, add some notes and try saving again. Is he still receiving the same error message?

If yes, what build of Nitro Pro is he working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Sorry for the delay. Version is 12.0.0.112

The saving of a document changed with a note is intermittent. Sometimes it works, other times it fails with the quoted message above.

Thanks.

Hello @shadragon,

Thanks for this information and for you patience.

In order for me to further assist you here, could you please send me a private message and provide the serial number of your user's Nitro Pro?

This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones.

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
