Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted May 30, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted May 30, 2019 Hello @Gerardo Domínguez, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Kind note I right-clicked the URL of the document and I was able to download the file: https://www.screencast.com/t/3HMWuIUnyYo If you still unable to download the file and in order for me to further assist you, could you please send me a private message and provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro? This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you. Dina Biblin
I don't know why NITRO isn't telling users the truth, which is that they updated Nitro Pro 12 to resolve this problem. There is something in the prior versions of Nitro Pro that will stop due to administrator rights in the registry or something as it was explained to me. I ended up buying Nitro Pro 12 for my new Windows 10 laptop and all works just fine.
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted May 31, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted May 31, 2019 Hello @Dina, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums and my apologies for the inconvenience. This is an installation issue that prevented some users to install previous versions of Nitro successfully. Users who purchased MS Office in Windows 10, via the Online Marketplace were affected by this due to permission issue with WindowsApps folder inside C:\Program Files. When Nitro Pro 12 version was released, our product team made an adjustment in its installers to bypass the permission issue for this folder that is why you were able to install it easily. Since we have we users who does not want to upgrade to Nitro Pro 12, below article was published as a work-around: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/answers/Nitro Pro/000003265 Again, my apologies on behalf of Nitro and I hope this helps!
