Becki Powell
Every time I start Nitro Pro, I get an error message that says I am offline and to try logging in again. When I log in again, I get an error message code 401 before Nitro opens and functions properly as much as I can tell. This has been persisting for more than a month now, and it does not matter which of the two systems I open it on. I have it on an hp laptop running Windows 10 and a ThinkCenter desktop running Windows 7.
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted June 3, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted June 3, 2019 Hello @BeckiD75@yahoo.com, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! This message normally occurs when Nitro Cloud is logged and integrated in Nitro Pro. Whenever the user is not connected to the Internet, opening Nitro Pro will automatically ask Nitro Cloud to login to our server. In order for me to further assist you, could you please your logout from Nitro Cloud after opening your Nitro Pro application? You can do this by referring to this screenshot. Thanks for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps!
Charles
I am getting the same error message and when I try to send a document for signatures I get {"status":"error","message":"Bad Authentication Token"} logging out and logging back into the cloud did not help with the 401 error
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted October 20, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted October 20, 2020 Hello @Charles, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please provide the following?: -Build of Nitro Pro are you working with. You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 13.X.X.X, e.g. 13.2.3.26) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features. -Does this error appear when launching certain features (i.e. signing into your Nitro Sign account) or does this appear every time launching of the Nitro Pro desktop program (without opening any PDF file)? -If this only happens when opening a PDF file, would it be possible to send us a copy so we can replicate it on our end? -Do you encounter this after connecting and then disconnecting from the Internet or does it happen while you remain connected? If so, how stable is your Internet connection? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
