Keeping Nitro Pro Activated

Recommended Posts

reverhart

Hi all! I'm having an issue with a Nitro Pro installation that I haven't come across before. For context, I'm and IT specialist and recently deployed a new system to a user and have had many successes with Nitro Pro prior to this. On with my question.

After installing Nitro Pro 12, I activated with the key and it seemed to work fine. A day or so later, Nitro Pro was back in trial mode. I attempted to reactivate, but now it's saying the key is in use. I deactivated the license with the online portal and was able to activate again. I've had to reactivate it approx 3-4 times and it only stays activated for 1-2 days.

The OS is Windows 10 and the user is not having any Windows profile issues that I immediately thought it could be.

Advice or ideas?

Hello @reverhart,

Have there been any recent Windows updates? Although not always, it sometimes causes Nitro to deactivate. Let us know if it continues to be a problem.

Thanks!

I have this same problem.  We only have 2 activations so if something like a windows update causes this problem, that is a real issue.   Right now, despite being logged in I am showing as a trial user, and when I enter my licence key it states that my key is already in use.

Hi @Leslie V.

Thanks for your reply! I (company) just purchased Nitro VIP Access so I can submit an official ticket but I'm having issues with it. The email we used to order the VIP Access is not allowing me to submit a ticket. When I click 'Other' as the type of support, it redirects me to a page stating "
Email support is provided only to customers with Nitro VIP Access.
Please choose one of the options below for further assistance.".

Can you advise me on how I can submit a Nitro VIP Access support ticket? Thanks

I'm having the same "de-activation" issue with my Nitro Pro after the Windows 10 1903 update.

Please send me a direct message and provide me with the email address you used to purchase VIP access so I can review and make the necessary changes.

Cheers!

Hello @DakotaR/T,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I released your key so you can reactivate. Please retry and let me know how that goes.
