JOELENE 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2019 I am creating fillable PDF forms in nitro pro 11 and when they are being used in acrobat reader DC they are allowing edit ability to the user. There are positional boxes that come up on the acrobat form and the lines get shuffled. What do I need to do to make it so that when I create a form and allow users to "fill in" they only can edit the fillable areas?
Steven Zakulec 60 Report post Posted June 24, 2019 You should be able to do what you want by using the Password Security option to lock down what people can do to the PDF without the permission password. Here's more details on that and how to do it: https://www.gonitro.com/user-guide/pro/article/password-security Hopefully this answers your question- if not, let me know what you tried to do and what did (or didn't) work exactly. Thanks!
JOELENE 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2019 Thanks Steven. I got that part to work now, except the user in Adobe still see the "blue lines with the circles in the corners" on parts of the form, it doesn't function for them but they can still see it pop up in different sections.... how do I stop that? Steven Zakulec 60 Report post Posted June 28, 2019 I'm not sure what exactly you're seeing- can you make a screenshot of it, and put it on something like imgur.com and paste the link here so I can see it? (Or if you can publicly share the file or a redacted version of it, that would be even better). Thanks!
