Nitro Pro 10 won't install on new laptop

Recommended Posts

I have a Lenovo P50 with Windows 10, cannot install Nitro Pro 10. It says 'failed'.

I have upgraded from 7 through to 10 and have no desire to upgrade to 12 just to get around the permissions issue.

The sheet I downloaded re permissions contain instructions that my Windows does not recognise.

takeown /F "%ProgramFiles%\WindowsApps" does not do anything but give me an error message ie file not found ...

is there any assistance?

I am more likely to activate my Acrobat program even though I hate it rather than spend $121 on the 12 upgrade.

cheers

Thanks Leslie

the commandline, takeown, does not work on my Lenovo P50.

I've tried typing, retyping etc and while I am in admin mode, in the shell, it will not let me past the takeown command.

Must be something to do with the Lenovo set up - just about to check with Lenovo why it doesn't work.

cheers

Roger
