Uninstall Nitro Pro 11 First?

Do I need to uninstall Nitro Pro 11 first before I install Nitro Pro 12?

Please be informed that when installing Nitro Pro 12, it will automatically uninstall your Nitro Pro 11 so Please see this link for backing up your custom stamps/signatures:

I made a mistake installing 12 before checking my eligibility.  It overwrote vers 11, but I uninstalled it,  and seem to have gotten 11 with everything back.

Here's my situation.  Hopefully you can help.

I have Nitro 11 installed; I never installed 12. I went to install it (as above) and discovered that my 11 ser no didn't work and  Software Assurance expired in May '19.  2 questions:

1) do I qualify to install 12 since it was issued while I was covered? and,

2) can I now extend the coverage?

Note, I've signed up a couple times for notifications and never get anything about renewals etc.
