Lorelle Posted August 10, 2019 Report Share Posted August 10, 2019 (edited) I downloaded a free trial of Nitro Pro for my Windows 7 computer. The preview pane on Windows Explorer no longer shows anything on any pdfs, since then. It did come up with an error message at one stage, saying: "This file can't be viewed because of an error in Nitro pdf preview handler". I would like to purchase this product, but not keen on doing that if I can't get the preview pane to show the file. Any suggestions? (I checked on my husband's Wiindows 10 computer with Nitro Pro as default and the preview pane doesn't work on that either.) In order for me to further assist you with your concern, kindly refer to these steps: 1. Run a repair on Nitro Pro. You may refer to this article: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/repair/000001641 2. Re-register the DLL file using the following Administrator command (Admin CMD): For 32-bit: regsvr32 -u "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nitro\Pro\12\NitroPDFPreviewHandler.dll" regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nitro\Pro\12\NitroPDFPreviewHandler.dll" For 64-bit: regsvr32 -u "C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\12\NitroPDFPreviewHandler.dll" regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\12\NitroPDFPreviewHandler.dll" Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps!
