Rule not working in Adobe

I've created a PDF in Nitro which has required fields, so when 'submit' is hit, it flags up when required fields have not been completed and cannot be submitted.

However, when I open these forms in Adobe (which the majority of people use), it's allowing submissions even if the entire form is left blank.

Is there any way to fix this?

I'm using Nitro Pro 12.12.1.522
