Tony Dips 1 Report post Posted August 20, 2019 I'm trying to edit a specific PDF file that was working fine the other day. However now when ever I zoom in, click Edit and click anywhere on the document, it immediately closes and brings up the crash report. I've already run a reinstall and repair on the programs, restarted everything and started from scratch with the document but nothing is working. AllainU 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2019 Hello @Tony Dips, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please provide the following?: -Any changes you are aware of before this happened? -The serial number of your Nitro Pro. To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'. -Nitro Pro build (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) you are working with. You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features. -Does this happen with every file? If it is a single file, please send us the sample file (with sensitive information extracted) by sending me a private message so I can replicate it on my end. -Where are the files saved (local, a shared drive or an external drive) when you are trying to edit? Can you check if you have the same issue when the file is saved locally? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you. Tony Dips 1 Report post Posted August 21, 2019 Hey Allain, 1. No changes were made before this started happening 2. Check PM 3. Build: Nitro Pro 12.1.0.195 4. Check PM 5. We've tried this with the file saved on the desktop, C drive and documents. Same problem with them all. Thanks, Tony
aakshitr1 1 Report post Posted June 4, 2020 Hi Tony. It seems like your PDF files are damaged or corrupt as you cannot open them normally. Now you can use Sysinfotools PDF Recovery Tool to scan the PDF files and recover the data from the files as much as Possible.
