Text fields changing to Checkbox Fields

Hello,

Has anyone experienced a text field converting to a check box?  I'm running Nitro Pro 12.16.3.574 and have been finding this seems to occur often, but not on all forms I'm editing.  The file is approximately 800kb, so not huge by any means.  I cant find a fix other than deleting the field and starting again, and then the problem often repeats.

Was this solved?  I just spent a ton of time creating a form only to have more than 1/2 the fields switch to checkboxes on their own.
