Dialog box graphics issue

Recommended Posts

Hi all. Ever since installing Nitro Pro, when I go to print dialog, the graphics get 'stuck', with the previous screen overlayed on top

of the print settings dialog.

Moving the mouse over these areas makes some of it come back, but it never shifts completely back to a normal view. (It is hard to describe,

but other dialogs are superimposed over the top of my print settings).

I have a good reliable & powerful graphics card and Win7 system, and this does not happen in any other programs or dialogs.

Are there any graphics adjustments I can make withing Nitro Pro to possibly resolve this?

Any ideas appreciated.

Hello @craneuser,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please provide the following?:
-Is your Windows 7 a 32-bit or 64-bit?
-A screen shot of the error message you are receiving and/or any important information. To find out how to take a screen shot, check out this link: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase/#/search/screen/000004108
-The serial number of your Nitro Pro. To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'. This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones.
-Nitro Pro build (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) you are working with. You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
-Does this happen with every file? If it is a single file, please send us the sample file (with sensitive information extracted) by sending me a private message so I can replicate it on my end.
-Where are the files saved (local, a shared drive or an external drive) when you are trying to print? Can you check if you have the same issue when the file is saved locally?

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hi Allain- It is 64 bit Win 7 Pro- 32 GB RAM. Nvidia GTX1060. Happens regardless of file, whether pulling from server or my hard drive, same behavior.

--I have tried every way i can think of to attach a screenshot- 'insert other media' gets me nowhere. --- 23460x-xxxxxx-xxxxxx = serial

Build is 12.16.0.574

Would love to send you an image if there is a way to do that.

Thanks for looking into this. It is hard to see what I am doing when I go to print.

Hello @craneuser,

Thank you for sending the screenshot of the distorted image while are Print window of Nitro Pro 12.16.

To further troubleshooting this issue, kindly run Nitro Pro with higher DPI mode by referring to these steps:
1. Right-click Nitro Pro desktop shortcut or the NitroPDF.exe (by default is installed in C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\12) then select Properties
2. Nitro Pro Properties window will open, click on Compatibility tab
3. Under Settings, click on Change high DPI settings.
4. Another Nitro Pro Properties window will open.
5. Enable 'Override high DPI scaling behavior'
6. OK > OK to save the setting and test Nitro Pro again.

Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps!
