Nitro 13 Deactivated and can't reactivate

Centurion

Recommended Posts

I purchased 8 licenses of Nitro Pro 13 for a client last week.  I have currently installed 3 of the 8 licenses.  The product installed and activated properly last week, but today all are indicating the trial has expired. The error is "Nitro Pro has encountered an error with your license.  Please re-try activation.  If you still encounter an error please contact support.  Error code -7089".  When attempting to reactivate we see the spinning cursor after clicking the Activate button but no window comes up to reactivate.  All PC's are Windows 10 1903.  Also when entering the key in the license portal we receive a message to please enter a valid key.  This is the same with all 8 licenses.  Thank you in advance

Hello @ComNet,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please provide the following?:
-The serial number of your Nitro Pro. To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'.
-Nitro Pro build (format is 13.X.X.X, e.g. 13.2.2.25) you are working with. You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

I purchased 1 license and now it says it is not activated.  I tried the activation portal and says the serial number is not valid.  However it is exactly as provided by cleverbridge.  How can this be resolved.  Thank you,

Hello @DaveB,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums and our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.

In order to further assist you, could you please provide the following information?:

-Could you please check if a major Windows Update was installed on your machine? If there is none, does your machine has an application that changes the registries?
-Does this only happen every time you reboot the machine?
-Is there a pattern on when it reverts to Trial Expired (specific time or day)?
-When you attempted to activate, are you receiving the error message like Error Code -7089?
-What build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 13.X.X.X, e.g. 13.2.3.26) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

I am sure there were windows updates installed over the past month since it happens as windows is always updating.

I don't remember when it first happened, though could have been a few weeks ago.

There is no pattern.  It won't activate within Nitro or using the portal as it says the serial number is not valid.

The error code is -2023 when nitro is first launched.  I down loaded the latest version 13.2.6.26

when trying to activate from the help/ about nitro pull down, nothing happens.

Hello @DaveB,

Thank you for providing this information and our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.

To further troubleshoot this rare activation issue, please refer to these steps:

1. Kindly run Revo Uninstaller to uninstall (or delete traces from previous installations) your Nitro Pro and reboot your machine:
https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo-uninstaller-free-download/

2. After rebooting, please delete 'Nitro' folders from Program Files and ProgramData (hidden) directories.

3. Then clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installer in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.

4. Re-download our offline installers below to reinstall Nitro Pro 13:

x32  http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_132626/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x86.msi
x64  http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_132626/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x64.msi

If you are not sure which to pick, this will help:  https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/0000037905

5. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate and entering your serial number.

Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
